Ink_d Gallery are putting on a exhibition called, Breath of Life, a portfolio of fifteen limited edition silkscreen prints by a group of Britain's leading contemporary artists. These prints were published by CCA Galleries and are being sold in aid of the British heart Foundation's Mending Broken Hearts appeal.
This unique portfolio of prints include the work of Sir Peter Blake, Storm Thorgerson, Maggie Hambling CBE, Bruce McLean, Maurice Cockrill RA, Brad Faine, Duggie Fields, Donald Hamilton-Fraser RA, Gerard Hemsworth, John Hoyland RA, Patrick Hughes, Brendan Nieland, Tom Phillips CBE RA, Barbara Rae CBE RA and Antony Micallef (yep you heard right).
For our show at Ink_d we have just two prints from each artist available to be purchased individually plus two highly collectable Portfolios in a beautifully presented museum quality boxed set.
All the publisher's profits from sales of the Breath of Life portfolio will be donated to the British Heart Foundation who are aiming to raise £50million to fund a programme of medical research into regenerative medicine which would enable the heart to repair itself once it has been damaged.
